USA CUSTOMERS

Microwave-kiln.com offers the following shipping services:

USPS Express Mail (upon special request: you must call)

USPS First Class Mail (for packages 13 ounces or less)
USPS Priority Mail (delivery within 2-3 days)

USPS Parcel Post (delivery can take up to 9 BUSINESS days - not including the date it was mailed or weekends! it can take nearly 1/2 month!)

USPS Signature Confirmation (microwave-kiln.com automatically provides this for orders $200 or more* (Exception: buyers of LARGE microwave kilns pay for this).

Normally, First Class Mail and Priority Mail packages are mailed within 2 business days. Parcel Post packages may travel to the post office on a "next trip to town" or "next Priority Mail pickup" basis. Please do not use Parcel Post if you must have your order by a date certain or you are in a rush for it! Insurance and the cost of packing materials are included in the shipping rates for USPS Priority and Parcel Post.

*The seller's and USPS's responsibility for a package ends when the package is delivered (and delivery information is available at USPS.com). However, if a postal carrier should leave a package on your doorstep or in your mailbox - and USPS.com states that delivery was made - and then a thief comes along and takes the package, the post office will do nothing except ask you who you think stold it. If you live in an area where theft is likely to occur, you can protect your order by purchasing USPS Signature Confirmation. With signature confirmation, the postal carrier cannot leave the package unattended: you must sign for it. The seller provides this coverage for orders $200+, but you are responsible for purchasing the coverage for orders less than $200.

The post office will not accept a claim for reimbursement until 21 days after mailing have passed. Please be aware of this. You will not be reimbursed for a missing or damaged package until AT LEAST 21 days PLUS however long it takes the Post Office to settle - have passed after the mailing date.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

International buyers may receive an email which requests a reply acknowledgment that customs fees and taxes may be due upon delivery. Depending on the value of your order, it may be canceled if you do not respond! UK customers click HERE for customs information.

As a way to offer the lowest worldwide shipping rates possible, international packages weighing less than four pounds (1.8144 kilograms) can be shipped USPS First Class Mail International with insurance being purchased from a third party vendor. In the event of non-delivery or damage, buyer must (no sooner than 45 days after purchase) complete a short claims form before refund or replacement. Packages over four pounds are shipped USPS Priority Mail International. These USPS shipping methods do not provide real-time tracking; however, reduced shipping rates are the result. Shipping time is approximately the same for either class of mail.

The shopping cart may not provide a correct ESTIMATE for international sales; however, at checkout you will see ACTUAL shipping costs before completing the transaction. You will see the actual shipping charges BEFORE you enter your credit card information (which allows you to stop the purchase, if desired). Insurance and the cost of packing materials are included in the shipping charges.

All international orders must include a telephone number as customs forms require it. Also, if you order more than four different items your order may have to be shipped in more than one box as customs forms allow only four lines to declare items.

For various reasons, orders from some very remote countries will show a shipping charge of $2.00. (Most likely this is not YOUR country!) If you should see a $2.00 shipping charge in the cart, please proceed with the order. Microwave-kiln.com will send you a PayPal invoice for additional shipping charges if this should occur, and will cancel the order upon your request or non-payment. PayPal.com will walk you through how to send money - and you don't have to have an account with them). Be sure that the email address that you use to order will be an email address where you can receive  messages from microwave-kiln.com.

Under certain circumstances, orders from certain countries may be requested to pay via Western Union.
