If you call me and I do not return the call, please send me an email. Sometimes I cannot understand the message and sometimes the answering machine cuts off the message. My apologies when this occurs.

Please note the drop-down menu of shipping choices when you are at check-out. Shipping charges include the cost of signature confirmation upon delivery, insurance and packing materials. Refunds are made when orders do not require these services. (All microwave kilns and high value orders require signature confirmation. High value orders require insurance.) Refunds for $1 or less are not made unless requested.

Orders which specify USPS Priority Mail USUALLY go out within two days unless it is a Friday or a holiday weekend. First Class packages and Parcel Post orders are not automatically picked up by the post office and will will mailed during the next trip to town  (10 miles - and USUALLY no more than two or three days at the latest). You can also select USPS Express Mail.

A signature will be required upon all microwave kiln deliveries.

If you use Paypal, please be sure that your correct SHIPPING ADDRESS is in your Paypal profile. If delivery is to go to an address other than your billing address, be sure that you add that address to your Paypal profile.

Your order could be canceled if billing and shipping address don't match.


INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

An international customer might receive an email which requests a reply acknowledgment that customs fees and taxes may be due upon delivery. Your order might be cancelled if you do not respond, so please be sure that your order includes an email address where you can be reached. Please know that you are liable for your country's customs fees and taxes whether microwave-kiln.com reminds you or not. Microwave-kiln.com does not falsify customs forms.

Packages weighing four pounds (1.8144 kilograms) or less usually are shipped USPS First Class Mail International with insurance being purchased from a third party vendor and packages over four pounds usually are shipped USPS Priority Mail International.  In the event of non-delivery or damage, buyer must (no sooner than 45 days after purchase) complete a short claims form before refund or replacement. First Class Mail International does not have a real-time tracking capability, but you will save money by using this service. If you would like to upgrade to faster delivery (USPS Priority Mail International or USPS Express Mail International), please finalize your order and request a quote for an upgrade in the comments area. Ruth will contact you with a quote. Please note: if the dollar value of your order (including shipping) exceeds $250 USD, microwave-kiln.com might require you to upgrade your shipping method in order to obtain a signature upon delivery. 

The shopping cart may not provide a correct ESTIMATE for international sales; however, AT CHECKOUT YOU WILL SEE ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE COMPLETING THE TRANSACTION. This allows you to stop the purchase, if desired. Insurance and the cost of packing materials are included in the shipping charges. The shopping cart is set up to handle purchases up to 10 pounds (4.53 kilograms) and additional postage will be billed if your heavier order requires it.

Orders from a few countries will show a shipping charge of $6.00 because the shopping cart has not been set up to handle orders from that country. The $6.00 represents the cost of the box, packing materials and partial insurance charges. You will know if this applies to your order if you see a $6.00 shipping charge in your shopping cart at checkout. An additional shipping payment will be necessary. Microwave-kiln.com will contact you and allow you to cancel the order or pay the remaining shipping charges.

Orders traveling to some countries, mostly in South America, might take 45 days or more before delivery due to that country's customs procedures. If you live in South America, please allow 45 days or more for your order to arrive! It might get there sooner, but it might not! But it will eventually get there! If you want a faster shipping service, please place your order as usual and then contact microwave-kiln.com for an upgrade in shipping service. An invoice for additional shipping charges will be sent to you.

If you encounter a problem with the shopping cart, please notify Ruth at ramstainedglass1 @  windstream.  net.

Under certain circumstances, some customers may be requested to pay via Western Union. This could be due to the high dollar value of the order, an inability to insure the order or some other critical factor. If this should apply to your order, your order will be canceled and your money refunded. Microwave-kiln.com will send you an email with a request to pay via Western Union OR pay via my Paypal "Money Request" after I have refunded your payment. You do not have to have a Paypal account in order to pay this way and step-by-step instructions guide through the payment process.

IF PAYING VIA WESTERN UNION:
Your order will not ship until payment is received.

Go to your local Western Union office or Western Union Payment Facility to make Western Union Payments. When making your payment ast, specify the following:
- Funds to be picked up at: CITY - Live Oak, Florida, USA
- Funds to be picked up by: Ruth A. McKinney
- Your Invoice/Receipt No: THIS IS YOUR NAME
- You must email the money "Transfer Control Number" to ramstainedglass1 @ windstream.net
